The Tool That Every Domainer Has Been Waiting For

Sometimes ideas aren’t new at all, they can be modern adaptations of old ideas, imports of ideas from other locales or just mergers of several successful ideas.

Domain names are key to the web industry. Without them we would be hopelessly lost in a matrix of numbers. With so many registrars to choose from it’s hard to know where to go. As a new domain registrar what you need is a hook.

One hook that could be used is the merging of domain tools into normal domain accounts. None of the top registrars adopt this idea but it’s always seemed odd to me that I have to go one place for my domains and another to get information about them. Why not display details like Google Pagerank, Alexa, pages indexed and backlinks inline with each domain on your domain management panel? I know this is something I would switch registrars for, and I’m sure there are many domainers that feel the same.
