Find Your Focus

Use twitter? If you like this idea, give it a retweet. Please!

If you are stuck for the niche or focus of your next (or current for that matter) blog, website or forum - I have one piece of advice for you - it should be something you are good at. Has anybody ever told you that you were really good at something? People told me I was great at finding domain names and low and behold Cogroll was born, where I had a jump-start as people already recognised me as (arguably) an expert.

Yeah, it’s always good to listen to those around you to help you find your focus and what you are passionate about.

So basically - find what you love and pour your whole heart into it? I’d buy that as a good idea. :)

It’s my first time here and I love, absolutely, LOVE the design of your blog!

Good advice by the way, because you should only be taking on a niche if you are good at it and interested in the niche (both go hand in hand for most people.)

I like these mini ideas, James! That message hits home in a lot of ways. I get people telling me that they want to start a business but they don’t have an idea. It’s not about having an idea as much as it’s building a business around something you’re passionate about.
